One of the best gifts I've ever given myself is the gift of membership in Women Who Hike (WWH). I may have started my hiking life with a fine group of Boy Scouts, but I've found that these gals are the most giving, encouraging group of fellow hikers I could ask for.
First up for 2020 - a First Day hike at Clifton E. French Regional Park (aka. French Park). As I watched the sunrise while getting ready to head to the park, I was greeted with the most beautiful array of pinks, oranges and a bit of purple. Watching those colors unfold reminded me that, while I’m not a morning person, that opening myself to possibility for the beauty in the day would be a fine way to start the year.

Holiday Hike: Ugliest Sweaters & Beautiful Trails Every time I get to hike with the ladies of the Minnesota chapter of Women Who Hike I'm reminded of all I've learned from other hikers. Having the trust and support of this growing group of hiking women is a blessing in my life.
